Hi all,

This is HiEdit control V1.0.1.7 packaged both as a static library and a dll. In the attached zip you will find the static library, the dll, the header file (HiEdit.inc) and the Full source of an application that demonstrates HiEdit control's capabilities.

What's new

-serious bug when changing file items positions with mouse; fixed

-EM_GETSELTEXT / WM_GETTEXT serious bug for big selections/large files fixed (Thanks gabmoa)

-The right-click (context) menu on the tab arrows now shows the file names in columns of 16 filenames each. (Thanks to icehole for similar suggestion)

is there anyway to make the tabs to show up at the top of window? It would be cool if we could do that through config file because IE, Firefox and lot of other apps have tabs at the top and I got used to it.

Amazing!

One wish: can you make line numbers not be right aligned so that there is literaly no space between number and first char of the word. It makes harder to read this way.

Thanks for your good words. I understand your suggestion. Good point. Is it not better to leave it right aligned and add some more space to the right of the line numbers?
