I was just browsing through the MSDN assembly reference and came across this:

FWORD. Allocates and optionally initializes 6 bytes of storage for each initializer. Also can be used as a type specifier anywhere a type is legal.


I honestly never had heard of FWORD, but I couldn't help but laugh at it's name. I'm quite surprised I've never heard of it.

You are not alone.. smile.gif I just tried it (fwTest FWORD 0) and it worked. Seems to be quite useless IMO, however.

fword is basiclly used in the multimodule, especially in linking with higher level programming, such as Pascal thumbs_up.gif . Hence it gives this correspondence:
Integer - WORD
Real - FWORD
Single - DWORD
Pointer - DWORD
