Hello,

I was just wondering, what is the maximum allowed file size in HiEditor ? I got some files with more than 3 GB I would like to edit and HiEditor complains about "not enough space on disc" (what is incorrect) and then crashes.

As far as I can guess, this seems to be a memory request for more than 2 GB which Windows rejects... oh, this ist 32bit Windows here, my machine has 4GB real memory and about 3.5gig usable.

Apart from that, HiEditor is really fast and a nice tool :-)

KR,

Ralf

Hi cyber2009,

Thanks for your good words. HiEditor has a size limit of 2GB. It is not a matter of memory or hard disk space availablle. This is HiEditor's limit BY DESIGN.

Regards,

Antonis
