i have no PICkit and was not working with PICs before, therefore not able to see how your add-in looks - it needs all tools to be installed to see it.
also i disliked that the add-in sets "autoload" by itself and processing studio calls not friendly to other add-ins.

btw, i'm using fasm add-in to work with AVR and x51

it can set alternate highlite and run apropriate tools (avrasm, a31) directly
