Hello everyone !

I love winasm ! and i want to use it!!! my problem is i have some very annoying bug
that happen randomly.

Like i dont want to bother peoples without more information it would be very helpfull
to have the debug symbol file (for you and me wink.gif

i'm currently using the 5.1.8.0

some of my problems are i switch between 2 project sometime the winasm crash

if i close it first then open it almost crash at 90% of the time

of course i run as admin with xp3 compatibility

sometime the extra flags im adding for the compilation are removed

(i often run 2 winasm.exe)

and sometime when i switch between project the color scheme b00m disaspear

voila ^^

thank you for your amazing product !

I couldn't confirm this. I'm using win 7 x64, too. But i've didn't encounter any problem except that the toolbar is align at the right and can't be realigned. I also didn't need to run it in admin mode or in any compatibility mode.

One of my projects uses a lot of dlls which are opened in different winasm studios. But i have no problem with it.

Maybe you can give us or me an exact log of what you have done to crash winasm studio. But first try winasm studio without compatibility mode.

To reverse winasm studio you don't need the pdb file because it is written in assembly and is easy to read with any disassembler/debugger.

Best regards,

XeS

try to run winasm studio without add-ins first, then turn on required add-ins one-by-one and check when you get the problem. if you do not know what for any add-in - it is better not switch it on - this may save memory etc.

usually crush is because add-ins - some of them are old, written in win98 era, and "not supported" by authors...
