To Admins/Mods

If you are deleting/ changing others posts, please inform the post owner on what
behalf you are forced to do that. I'm kind of person who believes changing his posts is
another way of questioning his personality. This is the worst thing that i fear or hate in a forum. Even if i banned i will not be this much furious.

It happened twice in this forum. Once its completely deleted and second time its
modified and on both occassions there wasn't any informations. First time i was genorous enough to accept it but not always.

Lahar,

Thank your for bringing this to our attention.

Have your posts been removed or modified?

UPDATE

I checked the logs for your threads Lahar. I did not see anything out of the ordinary. From what I saw, and I did not look at every thread and post, it looked like Topic Titles and their Descriptions were changed by akyprian.

This was due to site reorganization for Google friendly searches.

As of late I have only edited, removed, or updated posts in the threads that I have created. I mention possibly doing this.

In the case of outright censorship, I would not delete someones post for personality reasons, unless the dialouge was not appropriate. see Forum Rules.

I have given notice and suspended members for a minimum of a day before. :o

In the event a post was removed, it does not affect your Total Number of Posts.

Aside from this I have edited member posts for spelling and grammar, and do not recall changing anything you posted.

Apologies for any commotion.

Regards,

Sea

Hi,

Sorry for the belayed response, Lahar. I have been away for 5 days.

There is no intension to question anyone's personality. It has been a huge amount of work to check and edit posts of this forum. The scope is to spell check (typos or other mistakes from users having difficulties with the English Language) and also edit topic titles/descriptions (not the actual content). I wish we didn't have to spend so much of our time to do this work but I am sure it has been necessary. Take for example this specific topic of yours. The title is "To Administrators" and there is no topic description. It doesn't make much sense especially if many other users decide to use this (or similar) title/description when they want to say something to the admins.

It is always advisable to use a descriptive title and description so that users know whether they are interested to spend time to read the topic contents or not.

As far as the deletion of posts is concerned, this is VERY rare and occurs in extreme cases such as not proper language. I am 100% sure it has been a mistake if this has happened with any of your posts.

I really like to hear your thoughts about this.

Best regards,

Antonis
